With years of extensive experience, Jemcor treats each project and client with the support and service they deserve. Jemcor was built on the principle of solid quality work while keeping safety our top priority. Our employees are all certified under the TSSA (Technical Standard and Safety Authority) with our lead mechanics having an EDM-A certificate, the highest licence available in the field. Our employees are well trained and take part in refreshment courses to keep up with newly implemented codes and requirements.
Our Services
Elevator Maintenance
Our customized maintenance packages comply with the mandatory MCP program in place by the TSSA. Our maintenance packages can vary from basic needs of service to an all-inclusive package. Our certified EDM-A mechanics will provide top of the line maintenance and customer feedback as necessary. We also provide a 24/hr emergency service.
Elevator Modernization
We keep our modernization packages on time and on budget while minimizing down time. We provide door operator upgrades, cylinder replacements, cab renovations, fixture upgrades, hydraulic valve and pumping unit modernizations, fire service upgrades, partial modernizations, code compliant upgrades, and more!
Elevator Construction
We provide full packages ranging from basic needs to above and beyond standard specification. We ensure that everything fits perfectly and meets all industry codes. We quote jobs accurately, leaving limited additional costs or “change in contracts”. We install passenger elevators, freight elevators, hydraulic elevators, LULA lifts, and handicap lifts.
Elevator Service
We provide a wide variety of service work on all sorts of elevating devices. Our mechanics have experience working on all models of elevators dating back to the early 1900’s. We can help with small upgrades, troubleshooting, category testing (annual and 5 year testing), flood damage, vandalism, and code compliant legislations.
Top of Car Handrail
Top of car handrails have become required by the Technical Standard and Safety Authority (TSSA) on all elevators that have a fall hazard. Jemcor installs engineered top of car handrails on all types of elevators and will submit all necessary submissions with the Technical Standard and Safety Authority (TSSA).
Machine Guarding
Machine guarding standards have been put in place by the Ministry of Labour. Jemcor can install machine guarding to comply with the ministry of labour standards (CSA Standard Z432-04). Component style guarding as well as fence style guarding is provided by Jemcor and either can be installed upon a customer’s request or recommendation.
